..* note - as *Canankk ( Canan ) informs me - the figure is directly taken from Norman Rockwell's - The Connoisseur ........ whether a pasted up job - or painted on - I cannot say .
...... but I would find it quite fun if he slowly disappeared into the door on subsequent viewings ...one can only hope for a little magic to occur here and there.

Canan is well-educated and familiar with American popular art :wow:
I wonder whether Mr Rockwell would haven been as surprised about Ken's sexual preferences as me. Wasn't he living with Barbie? But maybe this explains a lot :giggle:

He's a paste up job Douglas..his left shoe has come adrift and he's got wrinkly pants ..poor soul..

..yeah - I was pretty sure it was a paste up ...but the bottom ripped out metal section could have been there - and he just cleverly worked it into his painting to give it the 3D effect .....but I doubt that's the way it went down ..........I usually hesitate to post photos of other peoples work ...even though this section is public domain ...but I thought this was worth sharing.
How come everybody knew about Ken but me ? ..I don't proof read these things !
