Thank You Black and White by AudraMBlackburnsArt for all the faves and the watch Douglas!!  :highfive:  By the way, I never did ask you:  Where are you from in Canada? :flagcanada:  Just curious, since I've traveled all OVER that country and grew up next to it.

Most welcome Michael- no problem !

Grew up next to Canada also  --- born and raised in Detroit

( when it was a pretty decent city ) -- moved to Toronto in 1970.

I'm from the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area (closer to the falls than Buffalo though)...so I was like a 30 min drive to Canada and 90 min drive to Toronto.
I've been to Toronto many many times (and all the surrounding cities too like Mississauga, Hamilton, etc. and I drove the QEW many times
back and forth. I was there when they were first digging the ground of where the future CN Tower would be constructed in '73. ;)

I love Canada. :flagcanada:  I've traveled all over Ontario and canoed up in northern Ontario. I spent over 2 years back and forth in Quebec, inspecting
and picking up brand new jets for our airline at Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal, plus been skiing up north of there. I've driven the ALCAN once
and then traveled across Canada from Alaska to Ontario. Me and my wife's honeymoon was 2 weeks in the Canadian Rockies (31 years ago) and we
even picked out our future daughter's name after the world famous Maligne Lake in Alberta (never had a girl until 18 years later, but finally got to use it!).
I did much of my photography in the Yukon Territory. The only parts I haven't been to, but WANT to see, is all the maritime provinces on the east coast.

So anyway, it's my 2nd favorite country in the world (after the USA of course) and I can't wait to return. Oh, and I'm very familiar with Michigan too. My
cousin lives in Romulus, life-long family friends live in East Lansing, one of my sweethearts here on dA is from Fenton, and my wife's dad and HIS dad grew
up north of Pontiac and Tawas City. =D  Michigan is one of the 50 states I've spent time in...and yes, I've spent time in all 50.  Take care buddy!

All 50 states eh ? --- I'm envious  !  ( I just keep going back to the same 4 ( corners ) states ! ---guess i'm hooked - but that's OK - I can vicariously enjoy the 46 through other lenses such as yours.
~ Sounds like a pretty good life - you've led - and able to enjoy your photographic desires . As I may have mentioned - my main , initial interest was external -- all I desired was to be a desert landscape photographer - lived in Tucson for a bit . But ended up back here in Hogtown - and slowly reverted to my first love of artwork ( now combined with photography ) -- so that is now my direction - inner imagination combined with external images  ( that sounds a little convoluted - but you get the jist ) -------- anyway , I raised two kids - and now have time to pursue the art -- and Toronto is a good place to live ( all things considered )
     Enjoy your 6D full frame with that L lens ! :) --- I'll be watching . ---- cheers !
